Irrespective of the management level, the hiring of new employees is becoming increasingly more challenging and complex. Factors such as high turnover of employees, dissolution of companies and establishment of new ones, information being difficult to verify and personal data being easy to manipulate, all multiply the risk of hiring potential fraudsters.

Surveys by renowned agencies have revealed the alarming fact that a large percentage of job applicants regularly falsify or alter data in their CVs, misleading their potential employers and creating more positive representations of themselves than is actual fact.

Our procedures

Pre-employment screening consists of checking the information provided by job applicants. We review:

  • Qualifications
  • References
  • Education
  • Previous experience
  • Applicant’s employment history

The objective is to check information obtained from the applicants and identify which applicants could be unsuitable or potentially dangerous for their future employer, e.g. those who presented falsified personal information, are unqualified for the given position, or whose history could harm the employer’s personal relations and reputation.
